He's back at Shadyside hospital. His breathing just seems to be getting worse. The heart doctor says it's the cancer in his lungs causing it while the lung specialist says it's the lack of heart function that's causing the breathing issues.
Whatever the case, it's sad and frustrating on a number of levels.
They need to do an aggressive form of chemo to shrink the tumor and his heart may not be strong enough to handle the chemo. BLASTED CANCER. It is literally of the devil.
I hope this is just my pessimism and that there is a way to fix this. I do love my grandfather.
**Update: Apparently half of his right lung is filled with fluid caused by the cancer. Tomorrow they are draining the fluid and hopefully starting chemo. Please pray for him. I don't want him to suffer through this**
