Scrumptious Saturday - Broccoli Cheese Soup

This recipe might be the best broccoli cheese soup I've ever tasted. I've recently been asked for the recipe, so here it is!

Do NOT however, make this in a crock pot. It will not work. You need to use a soup pot on the old stove! Other than that...ENJOY! It's fantastic.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Simmer in large pot over medium heat for about 20 minutes:
2 cups chicken broth
4 cups water
1-2 cups diced postatoes
1 cup diced onion
1 cup celery

Then add:
1lb (or more!) velveeta cheese cubes
1/2 cup milk
2 cans cream of chicken soup

Precook:
1 bag frozen broccoli
1 bag frozen cauliflour
(season)

Add to your soup and cook on LOW for 1 hour. (I cut up the broccoli and cauliflower a little bit if they look really large)

You may add other seasonings you like such as some garlic powder, sometimes I'll throw a spoonful of Dijon mustard.
