Spiritual Sunday -Being Thankful 3

1 Corinthians 11: 23-24 The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."

Did you know that even Jesus gave thanks to the Father for his food? God himself gave thanks.

Don't forget to give thanks as you eat today for his blessings, but more importantly for his sacrifice.

If you're a church goer, you may take communion there. The Bible says to do this in remembrance of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross so that you could spend eternity with him. But please don't think that that you only do this in church. Jesus didn't eat a wafer and sip a community glass of wine when he said this. He was having dinner with his loved ones.
This should bring some meaning to your meals. When you sit down to eat, reflect upon the blessings God has given you, the sacrifice he made for you, and thank him for them
