Thankful Thursday Part II

Last week I mentioned that Thankful Thursdays in November would consist of exercises you can do acknowledge things in your life you're thankful for.

Did you make your list last week? I asked that you simply jot down a quick list of the things in your life for which you are thankful.

This week I'm going to ask you to write a "gratitude letter." Handwrite it if you can and snail mail it...but if that's not possible send an email.

A "gratitude letter" is kind of like a belated thank you note to someone in your life. You know those people who are just always there? Send a note thanking them for holding a special place in your life and in your heart. Tell that person how he or she has blessed you and made your life better.

What if the person you want to thank is no longer here? Write the letter anyway.

What a perfect time of year to do this, right? Never miss an opportunity to build up someone else! If you choose to do this, please let me know how it goes and who you're thanking! I'd love to hear about it.
