Week 3: Fake it 'til you make it.
Ok, so maybe it doesn't sound RIGHT to fake happiness. But, if you've been reading my posts the last couple weeks and are still a Debbie Downer then I want you to fake thankfulness. Don't be insincere so-to-speak, but say thank you enough. Notice the world around you and what you appreciate about it. Did someone clean the bathroom of the place you work? Do you have clean water to drink? Acknowledge that there are things in your life that you blessed with and live like you're thankful for them!
Doing this will focus your attention on what you DO have instead of what you DON'T have! Writing these posts FORCES me to do that weekly and it's amazing how I am reminded how thankful I truly am!
So, fake it 'til you "thank" it :)
